Eco-Friendly Personal Care Products
As I go deeper into the eco-friendly/natural realm, I am evaluating ALL of the products I use. I recently eliminated all hair care products that have toxins and chemicals in them, but the list of things to evaluate is growing.
Recently I had been researching nail polish & remover. The toxic trio, Toulene, Formaldehyde and Dibutyle Phtalate are all toxins that are used in nail polishes. I'm happy to report the brands I use were on the list of safe polishes, but I did have to get rid of the remover.
I use OPI, China Glaze and PeaceKeepers Eco-Easy Nail Polish Remover. When I go to get my mani/pedi, I take my own polishes and remover. I think they should charge me less!
I am also reviewing makeup. I currently use MAC, but that too will come to an end before the summer. I plan on trying Christopher Drummond's Beauty line. Yes it's expensive, but so is MAC.
You can Google or go to The Cosmetic Database to get the truth on all cosmetic and personal care product's ingredients. I strongly encourage everyone to read ingredient labels on everything you put in your body and on your body. The skin is the body's largest organ, so make sure you are treating it with love!

Re: Eco-Friendly Personal Care Products
There have been a lot of harm to nature and people due to harmful chemicals used in cosmetics. Some low quality products use toxic material which can be very harmful to our health. You can find organic foundation, eyeliner, lipstick and nail polishes. These products do not use artificial colors and dyes. It is important to read the ingredients before purchasing any cosmetics.
