how do you know if a product isn´t working for your hair?
Heya,
I was wondering how you can tell if a product isn´t working for your hair.
for example I´m planing to do protein treatments regularly and today I was wondering how you can tell if protein isn´t working for your hair and that works with any other product or ingredient you use on your hair

For treatment you have to give it time. I'll say for treatment about 2 months. For hair products I usually know right away. You can tell just by the way yr hair feels and looks after using it. It's trial and error. Sadly we will spend a lot of money trying to figure out what works GREAT with our hair.

yea I know lol
but I still enjoy it cause the beauty supplier at my corner is really cheap ^^
so far I noticed that coconut oil makes my hair soft and therefore I kinda ditched my first regimen after a week and replaced my deep conditioner and my shampoo through the same line my conditioner is from and I spent less than 3€ and still have like a good amount to use
so in order to see if I can use or rather benefit from other coconut conditioners I already bought 2 different ones and will use them and see if coconut is my thing cause I realy hate coconut especially the scent but still using it´s oil in combination with castor, tea tree and olive oil, while I´m not sure whether olive oil is really my thing cause somehow within the first days I felt like my hair was kinda over olive oiled so I reduced the amount ^^
and this weekend I´m gong to make my first own protein treatment yeeeey

Actually for me, when it comes to protein, I can def tell if it didn't work after the first try. I bought this hair placenta protein treatment b/c I thought I was going OD with the moisturizing products and that was making my hair brittle. But It turns out if I use products with a lot of proteins and keratin etc. my hair when it air dries gets hard and crispy. I do save the protein treatments, or deep conditioners with a lot of protein for once every 2 weeks and use ones that are mostly for moisture (1/2 moisture maniac conditioner & 1/2 honey)
