transitioning in a weave
helllooooooo
I´m wearing a weave during my transitioning style (only God knows how often I´ve written that in here and how often I´ve written the word weave itself )
and from time to time my scalp itches soo bad - it´s frustrating.
any help,advice?

Re: transitioning in a weave
Im addicted to weave.
Well I should say I was..... I mean I havent worn a nice freshe long 18 inch Indian Remy weave in over a year.... but I know if I go near one it will be hard for me to come back to my curls!!
So anyways... back to the question. Use tea tree oil to sooth your scalp.
Wash your hair every 2-3 weeks. If you don't want to ruin the texture of your "hair" then I suggest using a spray bottle filled with water and squirt of shampoo and clean your scalp only, then rinse using the spray bottle and apply conditioner using the spray bottle, then rinse with spray bottle.

J gave some great tips, I would also encourage you go use tea tree oil. pin up your weave row by row and use an applicator bottle to get the tea tree oil to your scalp. I really think that in addition to the washing, the oil will help with the itching.
Re: transitioning in a weave
thx u sooo much
the second method with the spray bottles is somehow really errm tiring just from reading it haha
I washed it on sunday and honestly I don´t mind the texture it should be happy that I´m taking good care of it ^^
I was thinking abt the regular washing as well cause my hair felt so fresh after washing it yesterday
about the tea tree oil should it be pure tea tree oil or in addition with another oil?
I saw ORS tea tree oil but I wasn´t sure whether I should buy it but a feeling inside keeps on telling me that it might be the right thing

Re: transitioning in a weave
@Mariles-- the spray bottle method does take long, but if you're like me and you buy $150 hair, then you dont want that mess changing texture after a few washes.
So you put the time in to get your moneys worth!
